Spring has come to Louisville!

Spring has officially sprung! Louisville has some amazing flowering trees! They are practically everywhere! My favorite trees here are the Japanese Cherry Blossom trees. This must be the perfect climate for them, for most of them are HUGE! They grow so big and tall that they seem to be the predominate feature to most of the houses that they sit in front of.

The most popular are trees with little white and purple flowers that come and then fall off to reveal these amazingly green leaf clusters! I'm not quite sure of the name of the tree, but we have one in our front yard. Ours is pretty puny right now, but it will one day grow into one of the big trees that are so absolutely beautiful!
