But, last Saturday a huge point was added to the "worth it, definitely" column. I went 'target' shopping at Kroger, meaning that I just bought the products that I had coupons for and that I knew were on sale. And...my total bill went from $94.75 to $34.53. Don't believe me? Check out the evidence:

Now, I will say that this is not an every day or even an every week occurrence for me. But...even a one time $60+change savings is worth at least a couple of Sundays spent around the table clipping those suckers. So, I just wanted to share my triumph with everyone and I'll keep you posted on my couponing adventures...We will see if I end up sticking with it...

Rachel. I am so inspired! We should get together and clip coupons sometime. :)
Hi Rach!!
I love this post because this is so where I'm at right now... at the kitchen table in the midst of coupons and sales papers and computer. Just wondered if you've discovered the free website www.couponmom.com
I have been a member for a while and receive weekly emails with links to free sites where I can print my own coupons. There is also a feature called "Grocery Deals by State" that lets you choose your store and see a list of weekly sales (some even unadvertised). It tells you when to use some of the recent coupons in the paper and figures the cost all in a chart. So, check it out if you haven't already. I find it helpful!
Love you,
Raven
