Can I use the same title as a post right before? ....It's been a long time, friends....

Hi friend!

It has been a long time since my last update...and frankly, a long time before that post. So, here I am to catch you up just a few things that are going on in our lives.

First of all......Business update: Rusty applied to the St. James Art Show here in Louisville. And, we found out just the other day that (du du de duuuuuuuu [trumpet fan fair]) WE GOT IN!!!

Apparently, it's quite a feat to get accepted into the art show. There is a jury that reviews your application and then votes on whether or not you are St James material. Well, we don't know if we are quite St James material, but we prayed a lot about it and God answered our prayers! Rusty is spending the summer preparing for the art show. His plan is to make 80 pipes this summer and *hopefully (i.e. Lord willing) will sell most of them at the art show. If you haven't checked out the facebook page, do so. There are some cool new pipes out there. My hubby is quite the artist! I'm so proud of him! :D

My job update: BUSY. Apparently it's budget season for some pretty big industrial manufactures and it's a pretty big deal. I guess when one of your biggest spend items is energy, you really want a realistic picture of what that will look like. Translation into my life: Lots of things to do and not enough time to do them. I'm praying for efficiency and joy in my work. God is good and He will sustain.

House update: We had someone finish our sunroom! It has actually been a long process. We have a neighbor who is a contractor. We hired him to take out the windows, add sheetrock, heating and air, insulation, etc. Here are the before and afters:

Our beautiful sunroom before any work. Rusty and my dad put that fabulous back door on last winter. Other than that, there really hasn't been much done on it.

Here we are painting the finished product. Isn't it beautiful?? I don't have pictures of the finished finished product (beautiful blue paint), but hopefully you can get the idea :)
